Achieving more, together – through the power of communities

About Us.

We are a “collective of various communities” – comprising of individuals, interest groups, hobbyists, activists, small and microbusinesses, and movements on the ground that come together for specific causes and work together on areas of interest or passion to deliver the objectives of each community. More often than not, one E.S.A community will “cross-pollinate” with another E.S.A community, for the mutual benefit of both.

Who are we as individuals? We are professionals, retirees, college graduates, “fanboys”, parents, neurotypical and “neurospicy” -basically ordinary people from all walks of life – putting one foot forward to collectively make a difference through sharing, outreach and commerce.

02 Communities

The primary Communities under the E.S.A Communities banner ….

Neurodiverse

Originally conceived as a simple outlet for autistic youth to express themselves through art – The Spectrum has evolved into becoming a voice for neurodiverse individuals through the development, production, and sales of merchandise that promote inclusiveness and sustainability through commerce. Participant output now goes beyond just “drawings and doodles”, through collaboration with other E.S.A Communities.

Storytelling

An alternate reality. A future timeline. A different Earth. This is the primary setting for the Unity Macroverse, a large and limitless “story canvas” populated with stories created by members of the community, expressed in the form of comics, short stories, and novels – and includes other derivative merchandise such as tabletop games, action figures, scaled models. From a “fun project” to now making entry into local schools to encourage imagination and wonder – the key elements that drive interest in STEM.

Gags

Everyone has their wacky side. Our E.S.A Gags were created to eternalize local Malaysian traditional and contemporary sarcasm, comedy, jokes and memes – into commercially viable products for the general market within the region (and sometimes beyond!). While being generally “gifts”, a large number of our E.S.A gags are also collectible due to “special edition” rarity and limited quantities being made.

Makers

At the heart of the community’s “merchandise production” is our Makers Community. The folks fiddling around with molding, casting, 3D printing, paper printing, acrylic paints, power tools, heat pressers, machine cutters, and all kinds of geeky machinery and tools. Illustrators, designers, and various other artists also form part of our Makers community.

Subject Matter Experts Group

As described in the “About Us”, the community also comprises of professionals. These include former Heads of Companies, CEOs, COOs, CTOs, Division Heads and various senior executives in various areas of management, in different industries and types of companies ranging from MNCs, GLCs, State-Owned Enterprises, Large Local Companies and many other forms of business entities.
